Commuter Services of North Florida

College Students

No car? No money? No problem.

Wallet feeling awfully flat after you had to stop for gas—again. Late for class because there was nowhere to park—again. Ready to make a smart move? Commuter Services of North Florida has some ideas for getting around Tallahassee free and clear:

  • StarMetro buses are free for students—and not just on campus–anywhere in the city! All you need is your student ID. There are also bus routes that run thru the campuses of FSU, FAMU and TCC.
  • Bike or walk: You’ll save money, have no parking headaches, and get your workout, too.
  • Carpool: Talk to your roommates and neighbors about sharing the ride to campus.

Whichever works for you, if you use a ‘green’ way to get to campus and/or work 3 days a week, you qualify for Commuter Services’ free Emergency Ride Home Program.
