Employers
Commuter Services of North Florida currently coordinates many of its employer outreach activities through a network of employee transportation coordinators (ETCs). These individuals serve as a liaison between Commuter Services' staff and commuters at a specific work site.
ETCs assist Commuter Services in distributing information about the services we provide, and they also directly assist commuters in locating the resources they need. ETCs also help coordinate employment site activities such as Commuter Choice Week or transportation fairs.
Generally, an ETC is recruited or appointed from within a company's Human Resources Department, and Commuter Services' staff will provide any necessary training.
For employers who worry about staff and timing commitments, it is important to note that most ETCs spend, on average, less than 5% of their work week on transportation-related activities.
If you would like to begin promoting cost-saving commute options immediately, we encourage you to download and post one of the various posters provided here.
Below are some of our posters that you may use to promote commuting to work for your employees. They are in .pdf format.
